Hotel Pulawska Residence, Warsaw – 3 Main reasons to stay here!

In this post, I would like to call out my experience staying at Hotel Pulawska Residence, Warsaw (Poland). For those traveling or planning to travel to Warsaw anytime soon, please do read this further.

It is always a tedious task to figure out a place to stay which is both pocket-friendly as well as chic, especially when you are travelling with your family and friends. Even when it is work-related travel, I always look for a place which makes me feel at home and completely relaxed. This hotel is one such property where I had a wonderful experience. Few of the main reasons are as below –

  1. Cheap on your pockets and provides value for money – What more do you want! The rooms are classy, cozy, spacious and nothing less than a 5-star property. I had booked a double bedroom but got upgraded to a business suite which had all the amenities required and a wonderful room view. You can try your luck as well just in case you are travelling during an off-season!
  2.  Delicious spread for breakfast – This is the real deal. The lavish breakfast buffet offered provides for a wide variety of food. Even if you are a vegan, there is no dearth of choices for you. Most of the other properties in Warsaw don’t have much when it comes to breakfast meals – at most coffee and breads/muffins (at-least in my experience). Here, you can go without food for the rest of the day if you opt for their breakfast buffet option. Good choice if you are planning to save on meals!
  3. Comfortable stay – Apart from their great hospitality, the staff is quite friendly and helpful towards foreigners visiting the hotel. Most of them understand English which is a great thing to have in Poland. During my visit, they helped me explore around the city, arranged for transportation services, helped with phone services etc. Also, they do provide ‘still water bottles’ in all the rooms along with ‘sparkling water bottles’, which is not an easy thing to find there. Huh! FYI – you will only find sparkling water in almost all hotels and mind you, still water comes at a cost.

The hotel is just 15-minutes drive from downtown which was quite manageable for me and away from the hustle bustle of the city. But for people who are interested in spending their time mostly near city center for shopping or any other reasons, they should opt for other hotels as there are plenty of them near city center as well. This will help save on the transportation costs, although public transport is quite cheap comparatively in Poland.
